The rocks you see in this gallery are now under water. That's normal. They'll likely stay under water for decades to come. But a few years ago, to accomodate an improvement project at Dorchester Park, the water level of Whitney Point Lake was temporarily and drastically lowered, exposing these rocks. So for a few months, I had what could be a once-in-a-lifetime privilege to explore this rarely-seen landscape along the lake's western shore.
